The Celtic Art Story

We are very proud that Celtic Art Ltd is a second generation family business run by myself and my brother Philip Hynd.

Celtic Art originated in Glasgow in 1945, originally part of a company of small cottage industries aiding the rehabilitation of injured ex servicemen after the war by giving them a craft, a sense of purpose and pride. Over the subsequent years Celtic Art underwent many changes including relocating to the ‘New Town’ of East Kilbride.

With over 60 years of accumulated experience and expertise we are a very well established Manufacturing Company. Here in our workshops, incorporating traditional methods and state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, our skilled workforce produce high quality, hand crafted, Sterling Silver and Electroplated Base Metal Jewellery.

Our rich history of experience has enabled us to increase our portfolio and strengthen our position as the foremost Jewellery Manufacturing Company in Scotland, if not the UK.

We are committed to continue manufacturing in Scotland and keeping alive the crafts and skills we have been so proud to inherit.
